Jordan NOC welcomes Japanese delegation

Amman, Jordan, January 31, 2020: HRH Prince Feisal Al Hussein, President of the Jordan Olympic Committee and International Olympic Committee Member, has welcomed a delegation from the Japanese city of Noshiro.

The city will host the Jordan delegation heading to the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games this summer, and HRH Prince Feisal received the City Mayor, Mr. Saito Shigenobu; the Japanese Ambassador in Amman, Mr. Hidenao Yanagi; and several members of the Tokyo 2020 Organising Committee.

The delegation shared the latest preparation for the Olympic Games which will involve up to 11,000 athletes representing 206 countries and regions.

HRH Prince Feisal wished the delegation all the best in their preparations and highlighted the strong relationship between the two countries.

Noshiro is located in northwestern Akita prefecture, bordered by the Sea of Japan.
