“Athletics led the way with the most medals - 24 (5-7-12), three of which were delivered thanks to the women athletes.”

The other 11 gold medals came in karate (4), esports (2) and one gold apiece in fencing, swimming, tennis, table tennis and archery.

In the team sports, the men’s national football team won silver and the women’s team took bronze. The men’s basketball team also delivered the bronze medal, while the ice hockey team won silver.
