Tehran, Iran, May 20, 2021: The National Olympic Committee of the Islamic Republic of Iran reports that the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) has elected three Iranians to important positions within the international governing body.
The trio were elected during the FIVB Board of Administration meeting held online on May 18. The term of office is for four years, from 2021-2025.
They are Dr. Mohammad Reza Davarzani (Financial Commission), Maryam Hesabi (Communication and Marketing Commission) and Amir Toloukian (Volleyball Council).
Iran NOC reports that the FIVB meeting also discussed the Volleyball Nations League and Olympic Games volleyball competitions during the pandemic and reviewed the reports of the continental confederations.
