Manama, Bahrain: Twenty two participants are attending the Level Three National Coaching Programme course being organised by the Bahrain Olympic Committee’s Sports Training and Development Section. The course, which concludes on August 31 and is sponsored by Chevron Bahrain and McDonald’s, was part of the section’s annual plan aimed at developing the level of national coaches and improving their technical abilities.
Sessions highlighting the theoretical and practical concepts of the coach's roles are being conducted by senior sport instructors.
It also features the process of growth and development, movement analysis, safety in sport, physical preparation and how to prepare a seasonal training plan.
In order to pass this course, participants must attend at least 90 per cent of the sessions, as well as presenting their annual plans and passing the exams.
