Bahrain NOC supports volleyball meetings

Manama, Bahrain: The Bahrain Olympic Committee has expressed its full readiness to support the Arab Volleyball Federation’s Ordinary General Assembly to be held from June 15-17 at the Gulf Hotel, reports the Bahrain News Agency. The BOC has instructed all of its departments to contribute in making the meetings successful and to boost the Kingdom's passion for sport, as well as proving that it has been a trustworthy host for the Arab Volleyball Federation's headquarters over the last two decades.

The Kingdom of Bahrain Olympic Committee Chairman, Shaikh Ahmed bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, received the Arab Volleyball Federation's General Secretary, Firas Al-Halawachi, who presented a dossier of meetings to the General Secretary of the Bahrain Olympic Committee.

A meeting of the Arab Volleyball Federation's board to be chaired by Shaikh Ali bin Mohammad Al-Khalifa shall discuss the organisation's reports and its programmes for the next two years.
