Hong Kong, China, April 11, 2017: Kerry Properties will once again present the Mega Ice Hockey Fives in Hong Kong from April 24 to May 6 as it marks its tenth anniversary in 2017.  More than 1,200 players from nearly 90 teams and 14 countries, regions and cities - including Australia, Beijing, Guangzhou, Hong Kong, Russia, Shanghai, Singapore, Sweden, Taiwan, Thailand, UAE and Wuhan - will participate, reconfirming the tournament’s status as the largest and most competitive ice hockey competition in Asia.

The competition in the Youth Divisions takes place from April 24-29 before the Adult Divisions take over from May 1-6. A high-octane women’s showcase event will take place when WIHO Angels take on WIHO Saints on 6 May. The Youth tournament is title sponsored by the Hong Kong Amateur Hockey Club.

The tournament and Hong Kong postal service are pleased to present the “2017 Hockey 5s Commemorative Stamps” which perfectly blend elements of ice hockey, the Year of the Rooster and the tournament’s tenth anniversary to highlight sporting passion and unique Hong Kong culture.

To celebrate its 10th anniversary with fans, the tournament is this year offering close to HK$50,000 worth of prizes, including Hong Kong–Johannesburg return tickets from South African Airways, Nikon cash coupons, Bluetooth headsets from Monster, Ocean Park tickets, Kowloon Shangri-La buffet and Ruby Tuesday cash vouchers.
