Myanmar gymnastics builds for 2013 SEA Games

Yangon, Myanmar: A Chinese gymnastics professional, Yan Yunying, is providing expert training to Myanmar’s gymnastics coaches at the Myanmar Gymnastics Camp aimed at developing the sport and securing gold medals in the 27th SEA Games to be hosted in the country in 2013, according to a report on Xinhuanet. The training began on December 19, 2011, and will run until January.11, 2012.

Yan is training 17 coaches of the Ministry of Sports and Myanmar Gymnastics Federation and also students from the Yangon region by applying modern techniques. A plan is underway to give talks on techniques and rules in international competitions with female and male gymnastic referees of the federation and to designate grades of the athletes.
