Manama, Bahrain: The Hafsah Girls Primary School hosted the second round of the Micro-Olympic Tournament - organised by the Bahrain Olympic Committee in collaboration with the British Embassy - on the occasion of the countdown to London 2012, Bahrain News Agency reported on May 3. The second round of the tournament attracted a big audience of schoolgirls, who interacted with a variety of sports and technical competitions and listened to a detailed presentation on the goals of the event.

They also learned about the Olympic values and the achievements of women in sport. At the end of the event, the Bahrain Olympic Committee awarded a number of gifts to the participants in addition to prizes to the winners of various competitions who qualified for the grand finale, which is scheduled to be held at Shaikh Khalifa City Stadium on Monday, May 14.
