'Only One' UCC contest for Incheon Asian Games

Incheon, Korea: 2014 Incheon Asian Games Organizing Committee announced that it will host UCC Contest, titled “Only One Cover + Creative Dance” from June 23 through July 20. “Only One”, which is the official theme song for the Asian Games, is sung by one of the most popular K-pop bands, JYJ. The song has received more than 10 million hits on the video-sharing sites and attracted millions of fans around the world.

Any team comprising of 3 or more individual, regardless of nationality and age, can apply through e-mail applications. The content of the contest video should be based on the dance moves featured in JYJ’s “Only One song and its dance”.

Prize money will value close to U.S 7,000 for the 7 runner up teams, while the winning team will receive U.S 5,000 dollar. All application, voting, review, results announcement process will be done through the official SNS account of the Asian Games.

This contest is designed to promote Asian Games and raise awareness among people across Asia.

Kwon Kyungsang, Secretary General of Organizing Committee, expressed that this theme song, “Only One”, will draw more attention from people and give people a chance to learn about the 17th Asian Games.

Organizing Committee will use the winning team’s video to publicize the 17th Incheon Asian Games. The video will help connect people from all nationalities and backgrounds, and encourage them to start celebrating and preparing for the Incheon Asian Games 2014.
