Phnom Penh, Cambodia, March 12, 2020: The South East Asia Regional Anti-Doping Organisation (SEA RADO) reports that the Cambodia Anti-Doping Agency conducted an anti-doping education activity for the national badminton team.
The event was held at the Morodoc Techo National Stadium – the new sports complex being built for Cambodia’s hosting of the 32nd South East Asian (SEA) Games in 2023.
The aim of the event was to increase the awareness of the badminton players to the dangers of doping, to share knowledge and education and guard against the use of banned substances.
The session was supported by the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) and their global slogans Play True, Clean Sports and Say No to Doping.
The National Olympic Committee of Cambodia will host the SEA Games for the first time in 2023, following Vietnam in 2021. The 30th SEA Games took place in the Philippines last November and December and features 11 countries.
