West Asian Games
The West Asian Games are a smaller multi sport event, they were first held in Tehran, Iran in 1997. These Games were a great success which led to the creation of the West Asian Games Federation (WAGF), which is based in Kuwait.

They are now the organisers who arrange for the Games to be held every four years.
