Bali 2008
The 1st Asian Beach Games were held in Bali, Indonesia from October 18, 2008 to October 26, 2008.

The opening ceremony has been held in the Garuda Wisnu Kencana memorial park in Nusa Dua, Badung.

Officially opened by President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono Athlete's Oath Andi Ardiansyah Judge's Oath Pergunan Tarigan Torch Lighter Agus Salim Taufik Hidayat I Gusti Made Oka Sulaksa Stadium Nusa Dua-Benoa Cluster.
